Stunning Porcelain Boudoir Table Clock

French - Circa 1880
Excellent condition
A large and stunning porcelain cased antique clock by the famous maker Japy Freres. Case is continental porcelain, elaborately and profusely decorated with floral bocage, delicately painted in blues. It is a classic Rococo shape, with 'C' scrolls. Two cherubs are seated around the dial which is also delicately painted with a cherub on a cream background. To the top has a maiden feeding a Lamb. Figures are beautifully modelled and decorated.
Japy Freres movement is of superb quality, runs for 8 days and strikes half-hourly on a bell. It has been fully restored in our workshop and is in excellent clean and running condition.
Condition of the case is very good without any damage. Dial is also in excellent condition with no chips or scratches.
Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
