James Smithies was born 1860 and died 21 March 1942. Art metal worker, designer, decorative artist. Active 1891 – 1939. A lovely, heavy and well executed work of art. PLEASE NOTE, RED HOUSE ANTIQUES HAS NOW RETIRED.
