Superb quality mid 19th.c. artist’s easel c.1860. Beautiful folding fruitwood frame with turned and shaped detail to the hinge. A brass ratchet allows the height of the easel to be adjusted whilst the top stay moves to accommodate larger canvasses. Excellent colour and condition with old traces of artist’s oil paint.
