Large 19th C. Walnut & Mahogany Lazy Susan Lazy Susan Large Walnut %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
We are pleased to offer for sale this large 19th Century Lazy Susan, which has a mahogany tray and an unusually shaped, melon footed walnut base.

The revolving tray is in mahogany and has a simple dished shape with a slightly raised double lip. The melon footed base is in walnut. While it is unusual to have the two items in different woods, the mechanism appears to be original and is in full working order. For ease of storage, the tray lifts off the base.

The base has an old, green baize furniture protector.

Diameter of tray: 19 1/2" - 49.5cm

Diameter of base: 8 1/2" - 21.55

Height: 6 5/8" - 16.85cm

Condition: Very good. As above, the Lazy Susan is in full working order. The tray and base are in very good condition with the tray bearing a few minor indentations consistent with use.
