French kingwood and rosewood secretaire abattant in the Louis XVI style, the raised three quarter gallery with inlaid top above a single drawer to a inlaid fall front, opening to reveal a leather writing surface and two short drawers. Above three further drawers, all fitted with Rococo style gilt metal handles and key escutcheons, between canted corners with gilt metal and foliate mounts raised up on shaped front feet and brass sabots
