A very beautiful Kigu basket shaped loose powder compact which the makers named Bouquet. This highly collectible vanity was crafted in the 1950s. A clear Lucite dome protects the most enchanting reverse carved Lucite floral display. The colours are as vibrant as they were back in the day. The body of the compact is shaped like a traditional wicker basket and the engravings reflect the patterns on a wicker basket, including the functional handle. The powder well is stamped with the Kigu trademark. The powder well wall is stamped Bouquet. The original puff and sifter are included. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The catch and hinge work perfectly. A pristine drawstring pouch is included. Measures 5.5 cm diameter and weighs 54.4 grams.
