A splendid and unused boxed 1960s Stratton Petite powder compact. The lid decoration is one that is rarely seen and the enamel is very beautiful and detailed. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The inner lid is signed 'Stratton' and is decorated with the 'Compact-in-Hand' logo which shows this compact is fitted with an automatic opening lid - just tilt the mirror back to activate it & the inner lid will open. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The original presentation box, black pouch, puff & sifter are in place which means this compact can be used with loose face powder. The base is decorated with the famous all over star design. Measures almost 2 5/8" & weighs 64 grams.
