A most rare 1871 pattern Imperial German Bayonet with a saw back blade. The blade is stained in parts but there is no pitting. The top scabbard chape is stamped 1V. 34 The name above it has been officially erased. The cross piece is stamped 28342 and the other side is B11379. The bayonet is an untouched sleeper. In almost fifty years of collecting edged weapons this is the first saw back of this pattern of bayonet that II have seen. Post cost will be twelve pounds. You must be over 18 years old to buy this weapon.
