Good Quality Attractive Flame Mahogany 8 day longcase by John Grant of Glasgow.

In Bailles there are two listings for John Grant Glasgow….Main Street, Anderston Glasgow 1818-1841 and … Bishop Street Glasgow 1828-1841. As these dates overlap and both end in 1841 one could conclude that they are one and the same - he had two premises.

The movement is in very good antique working condition and has recently been checked and oiled. Well painted dial in excellent condition with scenes of America, Asia, Africa & Europe.

The Flame mahogany case is in very good clean condition with only
