George V Rifle Officers sword in scabbard
George V Rifle Officers sword in its steel plated scabbard. Plated gothic hilt with Bugle and Crown and a silver wire bound shagreen grip. Original platted leather sword knot attached to hilt. Heavy plated acid etched blade decorated with Bugle, coat of arms, GVR and foliage. Marked as retailed by the Uniform Clothing Co, 10 Clerkenwell Green, London. Marked on spine as no. 16355. In good sound condition overall but some wear to plating.
Approximately 101cm overall and blade length 82cm.
