Gent Electric Clock
A superb large round Gent of Leicester wall antique clock. This large design of antique clock was commonly used in public buildings, school's and factories. The dial is white with black Arabic numbers with the original weighted blacked hands. The case is white painted steel fitted with a glass. Gent were master clockmakers throughout the 20th century and hit their stride in the 1940s/50s. Their handsome unfussy styling was a hallmark of railway/factory antique clocks that graced platforms and factory walls up and down the country during the halycon days of steam travel and manufacturing. This clock is in a full working condition and just needs to be plugged in.circa 1960's
