Exceptional Parquetry Bombe Chest Of Drawers

This is an excellent quality French louis xv style parquetry bombe commode chest of drawers with the shaped front and sides. circa 1900
It is of a smaller proportion to the typical, a "mid size" chest so it is perhaps an easier piece to place and use as a decor item, but equally useful with its two full width drawers for storage.
Great condition and completely original,
The original marble top is an unusual marble, no cracks etc, shaped edge following the shape of the chest itself.
The gilt metal runs from the top of the leg to the feet, the centre piece being the star of the show and also incorporating the handles to the bottom drawer too.
Great piece and a very practical decorative French antique.
Measuring:
33 3/4'' or 86cm high
36'' or 91cm wide
17 3/4'' or 45cm deep
