English Original Painted Pine Antique Mule Chest

A lovely, mid 19th century antique mule chest / bedding box that is still in the original paint finish with line work decorations. In very good condition and with a lift up lid with original iron hinges, open storage inside, along with a candle box that has three drawers and two secret drawers beneath one of them. Under the bedding box area are two working drawers that have the original handles and this original painted pine bedding box stands on bun feet. Inside is lined in old blue paper, this can easily be removed. A nice added extra is on the underside of one of the secret drawers is written August 29th 1852 and initialled by the maker, H.J. A lovely example.

Shipping information

How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. If you would like a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a price. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.

Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.

We can provide an overseas shipping service.

Yes, we can arrange shipping to most countries. Please contact us with your country and area code if you would like a quote.

Terms and conditions

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.

In the rare occurance of damage in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of the item.
