This one is nice and of good quality with a lot to admire about it including: the stepped base, Deco Egyptian inspired coloured motif to the top of the doors, matched grain to the oak, those pressed steel and mock amber handles, raised reeded accents to the front and the fact that it comes with its working lock and key.

We are pretty choosey when its comes to these and this ticks the boxes on the look and quality front. We have sympathetically restored the piece to highlight the grain of the well-toned oak ensuring it is ready to place.

It survives in fine order with a few age marks but nothing nasty or off putting, the doors close level and the interior is neat and tidy.

A very nice piece of English 1930s antique furniture tipping its cap to the Art Deco era rather well.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
