Georgian Mahogany Gentlemans Wardrobe
A charming Georgian mahogany gentlemans wardrobe, English, Circa 1760.
Beautiful mahogany colour and in superb condition.
Typical of George III style, with solid mahogany raised panelled doors opening to reveal 2 removable shelves inside.
Sitting on a chest base of 2 short and 1 long drawer of solid oak dovetailed construction, retaining their original locks and with cockbeaded fronts and brass swan neck handles.
The drawers pull smoothly and the shelves can easily be replaced with a hanging rail, ideal for hanging shirts and trousers etc.
The raised panel doors are a particular favourite of ours, these look fantastic and come with working lock and key.
