A Blunderbuss type pistol with a flared brass barrel with undersprung bayonet released with a sliding trigger guard.The 18.2 cm barrel has two proof marks. The side plates are marked 'London' and indistinctly named. The pistol has a sliding safety and percussion cap mechanism and dates from circa 1820.
