These 19th Century spoon back chairs are a very nice quality set. Two have a very slightly deeper serpentine on the front rail of the seat but very minor. We suggest it would not noticed if not commented upon here. The shape of the back has a good flowing line and the centre splat gives good additional support and makes them a comfy sit. They sit on a cabriole leg with a serpentine rail on the front of the seat.
They will be restored and French polished for delivery and the price includes the re upholstery of the seats. 3m of fabric of your choice will also be needed which is not included in the price as this differs considerably.
These chairs have just come in and will be going through our workshops in the near future. As stated above at this stage it is possible to influence colour and type of the finish and of course the fabric. We understand these chairs are Scottish in origin but cannot confirm that ourselves. They are however a good solid chair that will look great when re French polished. There are a few antique tables in stock that will go with these chairs well.
