A beautiful mahogany folding Campaign Desk. This item is in remarkable condition. It has two metal lyre shaped paper clamps. Original leather covered inkwell. To the centre there is a writing box containing pen tray, paper section and further inkwell which slides forward and backwards on a brass rail wooden lid with leather restraining strap.
This middle section is exceptionally rare they normally have an attache wallet. The leather writing surface is incredibly well preserved. The folding action works well and has two brass locking brackets below.
It stands on X folding leg base with a fluted tapering joining stretcher. It would be very easy to use this item anywhere as portable or in the house and would house a laptop with ease.
