This elegant and very attractive early 19th c. English satinwood games/work table features a folding top over a fitted compartmentalised drawer, lined in dark and bright green silk. The table has a work basket, also covered in a pleated pale green silk and stands on lyre shaped supports connected by a shaped centre bar. It measures 21 in – 53.3 cm wide by 16 in – 40.6 cm deep closed and 31 ¾ in – 80.6 cm wide and 21 in – 53.3 cm deep when opened, with a height of 30 in – 76.2 cm. This very versatile piece could work for many different purposes, as well as making a lovely focal point for a wide range of rooms and decors.
