This is an early 18th century antique English oak bench, a 4 seater Georgian oak form, c.1740.

Substantial oak form with very attractive colour and desirable aged patina
Robust and supportive 2 inch thick 'bellied' plank seat
Classic 'A' frame legs strengthened with a circular section stretcher
Through tenon joints pegged for strength
Classic country dining and a super example of it's type. Solid joints and construction delivered waxed polished and ready for the home.
