It is quite feasible, especially with the knowledge the legs and handles to this piece still unscrew it was used as a piece of campaign furniture and served an officer overseas during the period of empire.

Of pine construction with a superb scumble finish in imitation of oak, even quarter sawn oak in places. Now dry scraped of multiple layers of paint revealing this striking original colour scheme. 2 over 2 arrangement of drawers with original handles (later painted) the whole standing on turned feet.
