Stunning Georgian mahogany chest on chest / tall boy in excellent condition. The top section consists of an attractive dental cornice, canted edges, and an arrangement of 2 short drawers over 3 long graduating drawers. The bottom section has a pull-out brush slide with another three graduated. All drawers having cock bead edging and oak linings are made in the traditional way with dovetail joints and retain original swan shape handles and sit on bracket feet. An extremely well-made chest with incredible graining. In excellent condition with only minor marks which reflect its long history and generations of caring use but nothing unpleasant or affecting use, in clean and solid order with no cracks or weakness. This is a striking example of period antique furniture offering a lot of storage space and splits into three sections for easy transportation
