Coalbrookdale Fern & Blackberry Garden Bench garden bench Coalbrookdale %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Late 19th.c. cast iron garden bench c.1890. Cast with Coalbrookdale’s famous ‘fern and blackberry’ pattern, the distinctive design runs around the shaped sides of the benches and continues down through the legs. Quite probably this is a Coalbrookdale original, but unfortunately the many old layers of paint have obscured any manufacturer’s stamps. With a later slatted wooden seat with old damage to one end of the rear seat slat. Otherwise good condition, solid and sturdy.
Dimensions: width 60″, depth 22″, height 36″.
