An unusual late 18th.Century solid mahogany coffer on stand. The chest with Chinese Chippendale blind fret carving to the front and sides. The lid lifts to a useful storage area which retains the original large brass working lock and iron hinges with paper lining. The wonderful stand having square cluster column legs with carved leaf brackets and individually carved feet. In excellent condition with working lock and keys. Sizes:- Width...48''/ 122cm. Max.Depth...24''/61cm. Height...39''/ 99cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
