Here we have an outstanding George III figured and flamed Mahogany diminutive chest on chest c1770. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. This small chest on chest has a finished top with straight grain Mahogany and a moulded edge. The front of this chest is stunning with hand cut figured flame Mahogany of the highest quality. The top section has a configuration of two over three graduated drawers and the base two graduated drawers. The drawers have Oak linings and a thumb moulded edge. The drawers all retain their original brass swan neck handles. The chest sits on original cushion fronted ogee bracket feet. This chest on chest could not be more original and is the best of Georgian design and cabinet making. A super chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 142 cm high 106 cm wide and 53 cm deep.
