Decorative cast iron stick or umbrella stand c.1873. Attractively worn finish with earlier gilding showing through, with a floral motif to the centre. Shaped stick rail supported by a centre column, on a stepped base. Produced at the Falkirk Foundry (1819-1914), a company formed by skilled former workers of the Carron ironworks. Featuring a registration lozenge mark dated 1873 to the rear and on both of the original removeable drip trays
