Attractive French Carved Mahogany Mirrored Armoire
A lovely panelled double wardrobe. We date this wardrobe to 1920’s.
The wardrobe is supplied in multiple sections the drawer base, a separate cornice, the side panels, doors and back panels.
The wardrobe sits on attractive carved legs to the front and square section legs to the rear. The wardrobe has a stepped cornice with an attractive carved moulding at the top centre. The doors have attractive shapely mirrored panels.
The interior of the wardrobe has a full width hanging rail.
The right hand door is fitted with a lock (key is supplied).
The base section has one two side by side drawers fitted with gilted moulded handles and a lock (no key is supplied but one should be obtainable if required).
The wardrobe has a height of 100" (254cm), a cornice width of 59" (150cm) and a cornice depth of 25" (63cm).
The wardrobe has an internal hanging depth of 18” (45cm).
This lovely wardrobe remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The mirror doors have some foxing. There are a few light indentation and usage marks. There are a few veneer age splits.
This remains a very stylish and elegant wardrobe which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
