Arts & Crafts Antique Art Nouveau vaseline & cranberry glass hallway or porch lantern of large proportion.

Symbolising a calyx or flower bud inlaid with 6 Voysey heart shaped flower forms with elongated tendrils, the style evokes the epitome of the arts and crafts/art nouveau form. The vaseline & cranberry glass is by Walsh & Walsh circa 1900.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest and most beautiful examples of vaseline & cranberry glass lighting to appear for sale & is certainly the finest we have seen reach the market in 35 years. The rare vaseline and cranberry glass combination exhibits deep rich colours and contrasts making for magical & mystical transformations once lit.
