Remarkable English Art Nouveau mahogany display cabinet c.1900. Glazed doors and sides featuring a superb Art Nouveau design in bevelled, textured and coloured glass panels with unusual brass glazing bars between. Fitted inside with three plate glass shelves (internal depth 12½") and a mirror glass back panel. The cabinet is framed at the sides and top with a beautifully shaped and pierced gallery of sinuous organic forms which support four small shelves for further display. Raised on curving legs joined with a low stretcher shelf with a bevelled glass panel. Original brass escutcheons and key (note the pierced detail to the grip) and lovely little shaped brass brackets supporting the shelves inside. Some repairs to the decorative frame. Otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Note the decorative framework is removable for ease of delivery.
