An absolutely stunning Arts and Crafts oak washstand with the most unusual border tiles that we have seen in the last sixty years in the antiques business. With five yellow dots on a deep red background they work with perfect unison to the floral central tiles which have a green background with white flowers and hints of brown foliage. The simple base has two cupboards with a swivelling oak towel rail and decorative hearts cut into the corner brackets. All very typical of the Arts and Crafts movement but with quite striking aesthetics. With a polished black marble top this washstand offers great cupboard space and could be used as a drinks cabinet.
