A very large and impressive antique yew wood military campaign chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is of superb quality, much larger than the usual military campaign chests seen. There is lots of storage space in the generous drawers, and the drawers have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. There are high quality brass handles and fixtures, the yew wood has a gorgeous colour tone and stunning grain patterns.

We have had this cleaned up and given a fresh wax polish, the condition is excellent for its age with only some extremely minor wear here and there beneath the polish.
