Superb Antique Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers and dating from around 1860. It has a squared edge to the top above a cross banded secret frieze drawer and three superbly shaped serpentine hat drawers. There are three long graduating drawers all of which are ash lined with original turned knob handles with mother of pearl ilaid to the centre. To either side there are carved acanthus leaf corbal supports above a turned column
and standing on small bun feet. The plinth base is also a secret drawer.

A Superb Chest in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the Victorian period.
