A handsome antique Victorian mahogany desk with drawers. In mellow well figured mahogany it stands on elegant turned legs with original brass and ceramic casters. It has a gallery back above two drawers, each with original knob-handles. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large. This piece was probably made originally as a serving table or wash stand, but makes a wonderful desk.
