This is an antique tallboy. An English, flame mahogany grand chest of drawers, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860.

Of superb quality, a veritable treat for the master bedroom
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Striking flame stocks present fine grain interest and vibrant russet hues
Graced with a quality wax polish finish throughout

Chamfered front corners present an attractive profile
Pleasingly stout top surface with 2.5cm (1") figured stock
Arranged as a suite of two over three graduated drawers
Each drawer dressed with circular pulls and prominent cockbeading
Inset brass-lined locks present to drawer fronts —key absent
