Antique Spanish Walnut Library Writing Table
An imposing late 19th.Century freestanding Spanish writing table or desk. Crafted in solid walnut throughout, the figured walnut top having a well carved edge above 2 frieze drawers decoratively carved with dragons, scrolling fauna and retaining the original crafted iron drop handles. The conforming reverse with 2 carved faux drawers and matching handles. The table is supported on trestle style ends with deep carved scrolling detail and joined with a forged iron stretchers. Condition- Very good, re-polished in our own workshops with warm patina and solid walnut drawer linings.
