A beautiful antique burr walnut leather top kidney shaped desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s period.

The quality is outstanding, this has a beautiful design and is a very practical size. The kidney shaped top has an inset black leather writing surface and walnut banding around the edges. There are five drawers which have detailed brass handles and nicely dovetailed joints. This stands on cabriole legs with shell carving at the knees, the back is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
