This is a gorgeous piece of exhibition memorabilia - a true antique from 1901 - it is adorable - the small coin purse which measures 2.58" inch (6.7cm) x 2" inch (5.2cm) has a ball clasp fastening to the top which is in good order. Opening to a red 3 part interior. Two pieces of mother of pearl shell have been used to the outside and an image of the Exhibition hall at Kelvingrove Park is set to the front. The Exhibition in Glasgow ran between 2 May and 4 November and was opened by the Duchess of Fife (sister of George V). The mother of pearl remains intact to the red material cover. A lovely piece that I am sure will find its way to an appreciative buyer.
