An excellent antique mahogany writing desk in the military campaign style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is very well made and has a very smart design. The dark mahogany is offset beautifully by the brass details. There is an inset tooled leather top which is a gorgeous faded black, and is tooled around the edges. This is a useful size, and is finished nicely on the back as well, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are some small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, giving this a wonderful patina.
