It has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface with a gadrooned edge going all the way around. This desk has a finished polished back & a serpentine shaped front. It has canted corners, flame mahogany drawer fronts & sits on solid mahogany carved legs with ball & claw feet. The drawers have original brass handles, locks & fine dovetails.
