Antique Georgian Mahogany Astral Glaze Bookcase
A superb original George III period antique bookcase in Mahogany, dating from the 1790-1810 period.
This is very unusual and is a great size, its not too large overall, but contains lots of storage space for books. It sits on bracket feet, with two deep lower drawers and a finely detailed dental cornice. There is fabulous geometric astral glazing on the doors and the shelves slot into grooves, they are all adjustable.
It’s of exceptional quality, in excellent condition for its age & we have had this recently revived & polished.
