Antique George 111 Oak Chest of Drawers with later carving and dating from around 1780. It has a plank top with moulded edge above a profusely carved frieze, sides and drawers of acanthus leaf and flora and linen fold design between the drawers. There are two small drawers above two long drawers all of which are oak lined and with later turned knob handles. The sides are panelled with small fruitwood inlay to the centre. It is hand & peg joined and has its original rough hewn panelled back.

Measures 32" high x 21" deep x 54" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and oozes all the charm and character of the Period.
