A beautiful, very large, restored Victorian pine chest, circa 1870. A rare, exceptionally well made chest, Scottish in origin. Drawer runners replaced where necessary, so drawers glide easily in their recesses. Drawers with all round dovetail construction and thick timber drawer bases.
The chest is flanked on the front with quarter turned columns and sits on squat ball feet.
Original birch, screw dowel knobs. Excellent panelled back. A superb Victorian chest.
