This was a most exciting find!! A wonderful antique French copper grape hod, complete with leather back straps. The tapering shaped hod has a high back, rolled rim and decorative dragooned border.

The condition is good, there is a small hole to the back, this is high up, cannot be seen from the front, does not detract from the appearance.

This is a superb, unusual and highly decorative rare item. It would be excellent for holding logs, filled with a dried floral arrangement, an attractive stick stand or just
displayed as is.
