This is an antique display table, a Victorian mahogany side or lamp table, English c.1880.

Fine table in choice mahogany with interest from every angle
Raised on long sinuous cabriole legs with carved knee detail
Standing upon unusual, well carved hairy hoof feet

Lower, stepped, petal shaped tier appearing to hang from branched stretchers
Shaped table top over serpentine apron
Stylised foliate detail and petal borders framing central stand

A well executed design with good proportions. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
