A pair of Scandinavian chairs made from birch plywood probably in the 1930s. The chairs have been newly refinished. They may be a less common Alvar Aalto design or the may have been made by one of his lesser well known contempories. The certainly look like chairs designed by Alvar Aalto but they differ slightly from any Aalto chairs that we have been able to find pictures of. One chair is in excellent condition and the other just good condition with more signs of use. We would welcom any information on these chairs.
