A miniature George III chest of drawers miniature  chest mahogany %%alt5%%
Raised on turned bun feet, with 3 long and 2 short, flame mahogany drawers with rosewood banding and boxwood stringing. In good and original condition. 410mm high, 380mm wide and 210mm deep. Circa 1820.
Miniature pieces of antique furniture are often described as apprentice pieces, whilst this may true in many cases they were also used as salesman's samples and shop window display models.
