A late 17th century mule chest, having a triple panelled front with applied split mouldings, lozenges and bosses. The chest has its original escutcheons and has owners initials nailed on the top rails I.F ,below is a single drawer with drop handles.
The chest has some later restorations but overall has fantastic colour and patination, and is in excellent condition.
