8 day Scottish mahogany longcase clock.


Good early 19th century Scottish 8 day longcase clock by JOHN GOLDER of DOUGLAS (also Alloa). The movement has been fully cleaned and is in full working order including the date and comes with a one year guarantee.
The original case with very nice flame mahogany veneered front with boxwood line inlay. Swan neck top to the hood with original brass pattera and central eagle and ball. Fluted columns to the hood with quarter fluted columns to the trunk. Bracket feet to the base.
There are a couple of old veneer repairs to the base of the case otherwise it is in good condition and is a nice colour with waxed finish.
SIZE 89" high overall. 20" wide.
