An interesting 18th.Century collectors long case clock by John Tribe of Petworth.
The 30 hour brass dial having an original single hand with silvered chapter ring marked for the quarter hours with the movement running on a rope and weight with extra long pendulum. The rustic pine case retaining the original dark red painted or lacquered finish with a pagoda top and gilded wooden balls and blind fret. The long door having a moulded edge with working lock & key. The whole raised on a plinth base and in good working order. Fully cleaned & serviced ( See information sheet in photos). Dimensions:- Height…84’’/ 213cm. Width…16.75’’/ 42.5cm. Depth…9’’/ 22.8cm.
