This one is presented in great historic order having been found in a Somerset workshop. Surviving from around the 1930s, this twin pedestal oak desk with its flight of three drawers to one side, deep filing drawer by way of two faux drawers topped by a single drawer on the other side and a middle drawer with a working lock and key. We also have typing slides to both sides, displaying its past well. The frame is sitting firm on 8 sturdy legs, all drawers are running fine, the great shaped handles are all in place, with the desk having no repairs or alterations.

A little smaller than some of its type, the desk possesses genuine aging to the solid oak top, panelled sides and backs and to the legs. We have ensured the desk is ready to place and use after a light waxing and full check over in our workshop. Expect a genuine 1930s desk with aging.

A good piece of 1930s English office antique furniture.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
